 jLAN Mobile Server
The jLAN Mobile Server is the backbone of the jLAN Mobile Suite that lets you manage your route accounting software system. It is a server side application that provides a centralized management console enabling the system administrator to easily manage your mobile workforce. Whether you have a 5 user system or thousands of users, jLAN Mobile Server's scalable and intuitive design makes managing your mobile workforce easy.

User Administration
Not all mobile users are created alike. The jLAN Mobile Server enables administrators to centrally create and manage PDA users, edit system permissions by individual user or groups and create security settings to restrict system access by user or group.
Integration to your ERP System
jLAN's Mobile Server also lets you control how and when sales documents, customer, inventory and account receivable information is bi-directionally managed between the mobile devices and your back office ERP system. This eliminates the need to recreate business processes that already exist in your ERP or accounting system. The jLAN Mobile Server lets you leverage those business rules and ensures that same methodology is used on mobile devices in the field.

Monitoring
System administrators can easily configure centralized sales and synchronization reports to provide management with near real-time access to the latest data for your mobile workforce activity.
Reporting
Knowledge is king. jLAN Mobile provides server side reports designed to give managers complete visibility into route sales productivity. Standard reports include Sales Analysis, Route Activity, Route Reconciliation, Inventory, Payments, Deposits and many others. Because jLAN mobile uses Microsoft SQL Reporting Services as its reporting engine modifying existing or creating new reports is simple and standardized.
Protect your data
To protect sensitive business data, the jLAN Mobile Server offers three levels of data protection which ensures that critical business data is safe and secure. Security features include user name and password authentication, encrypted data on the device and the ability to remote "wipe-out" a mobile device.
Technology
Flexible, Scalable and Reliable: The jLAN Mobile Server utilizes Microsoft SQL Server at its foundation ensuring uncompromised system reliability. From within the jLAN Mobile Server administrators can create and use their own SQL queries to accommodate the most complex data filtering needs. Communication between the mobile devices and the jLAN Mobile Server occurs over HTTPS providing a simple yet secure and reliable transport layer to accommodate both on-line and off line transactions.
